Rocío Yanes, a researcher in the SINAMAG group (LUMES–USAL), explains in El Mundo de Castilla y León, in its Innovadores section, how they have managed to control the motion of magnetic domain walls using only acoustic waves, a key advance in spintronics and more efficient data storage.
This result opens up new avenues for the design of more sustainable magnetic devices, with lower energy consumption and higher performance.
