On 26 September 2025, LUMES took part in the European Researchers’ Night, presenting its activity “LUMES MÁXIMA, Magos de Luz y Materia”, which brought science closer to the general public in an interactive and surprising way.
During the event, more than 600 people visited the LUMES stand directly, contributing to the total of 8,000 attendees who took part in the various activities organised across the city, according to local media.
LUMES’s proposal combined demonstrations with interactive experiences, sparking scientific curiosity in visitors of all ages and creatively showcasing how research can transform our understanding of the world.
With this initiative, LUMES reaffirms its commitment to scientific outreach and engagement with society, bringing cutting-edge research closer to all audiences.
